Shapeways has free shipping to designers though, and with metal 3D printing and stuff they make a good alternative.

Awesome! Thanks for sharing. Well I have sucesfully moved to Japan, so I no-longer have access to the 3D printer :cry: There are probably postal services or something that I haven't discovered yet, but l might just need to put my plans on hold for a while.

i would us a 3D printer to make some cool dragons or an awesome elf ranger for my weekly D&D adventuring!!!!
