I love all of the detail that you've managed to get in this! I can only imagine how time consuming all of the colour changes are... Please keep updating, this is a fantastic piece!

It took me quite a bit longer than expected to finish up the 3 due to work being an absolute madhouse but I was then surprised by having some unexpected days. During that time I finished the 3 with Mario and Luigi and I have began the words for the title. I have quite a few schedule stretches from work off so I'm hoping that I can finish the bottom part of the title by the end of the month.

I'm slow to catch on, but I am in utter awe over this. It is an amazing project, and I think rather than use it, you should mount it on a wall when you've finished it! May I ask what sort of stitch you're using? I'd imagine doing all that in single crochets would have to be murder on your fingers!

Sorry it has taken so long to update. It's been ready for about a week now but work has been a little maddening, kind of feast or famine around here so either it's calm/the looney bin there's no middle ground. Either way, I have finished the lower section of the title and am a starting on the "Super" portion. I'm so excited to be able to almost see the rest of the pattern without scrolling on my computer screen!

Tehneyrzomb, keep at it comes with lots of practice and the tunisian simple stitch is really a pretty easy stitch that with a little bit of practice you can definitely be making awesome things!

Certainly! I am using the Tunisian Simple Stitch, I could not imagine trying to do this in single crochet it would definitely be horrible on the fingers. It's super heavy so I have a feeling if I mounted it on the wall it might bring our wall down, and my husband would probably kill me if I didn't let him use it, haha.

No matter how many times I see this, I just think it's amazing. I agree with funkymonkey. I definitely need to learn Tunisian crochet. Soon.
