So I made my bf a crocheted goomba blanket for Christmas.. He really likes navy so thats why there is a white outline around the goomba, so he doesnt get lost in the blanket. I used half double crochet because I wanted a really warm blanket and the back of it is lined with polar fleece.

I love it! The white is really striking.

Did you just make squares and sew them together or is it one continuous line with yarn color changes? I want one.....

lockitt- Yeah I personally didn't know what to do about the white because it really does pop the goomba out. But after putting the dark brown next to the navy blue it was very muddled. But thank you! I'm glad you like it
Batboard- I made all the same sized squares for the goomba himself. But outer blue is different sized squares. I sewed them together which actually took way longer to do than the actual crocheting. I'm glad you like it, I used a perler bead pattern to do it.
