may I ask how did you make the squares? I am working on a pinkiepie blanket for my roommate and was trying to figure out what kind of squares to use.

I'm at the point where I'm wishing I'd made it in granny squares... I can't figure out for the life of me a good way to get these things attached to each other!BooChocoBoom wrote:Awesome! I am just now learning how to make granny squares so I can start on my own crochet blankets.
I definitely look forward to seeing what you come up with in the future!

Have you thought of doing a whip stitch? Only bad thing is that you will have an edge where they are all attached on the back so you might have to line the back of it.

I think that there may be a way to slip stitch two of the edges together. If I remember correctly it will make a bit of ridge of sorts but you shouldn't have a lot of ends to weave in either. Admittedly it has been a while since I crocheted anything.

You could try joining them with an 'invisible seam'. I use this and similar techniques for a lot of my seaming. It's especially useful if you have a definite front and back to your piece.
Here's a link to a tutorial in case you're unsure. It will give you an idea of what the seam will look like.

I usually try a bunch of different seams before settling, just to get an idea of what looks best for each type of item. Hope this helps.

Re: Companion Cube Crochet Blanket WIP
Thanks for all of the suggestions! I was actually using the tutorial that TigerLily linked, but I run into problems with the shape of my squares. The edges aren't even all the way up the square because of the style of stitching, so when they are attached it just doesn't look good. I don't really know if there will be a method that will/could fix that, though?
