I have to keep my hands busy. It's an OCD stress thing. So I decided to make christmas ornaments despite not having a tree or room for one. I got together with my other half and my 2 close friends and we came up with a list of topics for them. Unfortunately said list has over 100 topics. I'll get around to doing them all but it may take me a year. Anywho here are the first 3. I still need to seal, trim and apply backing but you'll get the idea.

Ooo interesting project!!! Its like those drawing challenges of 100 themes, hmm might suggest that for a future challenge...

I've gotten around to stitching a few more ornaments but haven't taken pictures of all of them yet. I do have a picture of a Sailor Moon one that is mostly done. I'm debating on how to do the background. I didn't have a pattern so this was a test piece. 14 count plastic canvas picked colors by eye.

Ok I finally took a group shot pic of the first 14 ornaments. I still need to fill in Gizmo but at least the outline is done. Moss from IT Crowd may end up getting redone as I think the shade of brown is too dark. I still need to trim, seal and do backings for all and backgrounds for some. So far there are: zombie Kenny, red Mario mushroom, Pac-man ghosts, Batman symbol, Despicable Me Minion, Moss from IT Crowd, Ghostbusters symbol, Dragon Quest Metal Slime, Dragon Quest Blue Slime, LOZ red rupee, LOZ blue rupee, Doctor Who red Dalek, Sailor Moon Usagi & Tuxedo Common (I watch the original Japanese version), and Gizmo from Gremlins. I'm planning on making a victorian style cameo Jareth from Labyrinth but have been banging my head against wall for a few months as pcstitch does not want to help me make that pattern. We'll see how that turns out.
