Now, I cannot knit (try as I might, I just can't pick it up), but I set myself a little challenge to see how closely I could replicate the style in which my grandmother knitted toys, but in my own preferred form of needlecraft. I decided, for this challenge, to make one more lemming of Lemming's type, as a companion for him. This is the result;
She was made in around a day in total, as a quick break from a more complex project that I'm also working on at the moment, and is 100% hand-sewn. I'm very pleased with how she's turned out, and I think I managed to stick pretty closely to the intended style.
