I know I'm late to the discussion, but how many squares of each color did you need? I'm really bad at figuring out patterns :help:

I noticed it has been a while since I updated this. The reason is simple: classes have started again.. So the time I have to crochet and do the mini craft swap is getting less every day. Anyway, I did manage to get some work done during those few hours watching TV.

Now he just needs feet, a left arm and a whole lot of blue.
It's getting more and more difficult to attach the squares, because it is getting so enormously big and heavy.. it now measures 95 by 110 cm, which is 37 by 43 inch. I do love seeing it come together though!
Can you tell me how you attached the squares? I am working on a blanket now and thought slip stitching the squares together would work. Also, how did you deal with the sides of the squares with the turning chains?

I'm so glad I found your blanket, I promised my friend a Bubble Bobble blanket ages ago but I because of how many pixels are in them the blanket would be HUGE. Making the squares this way (and sometimes double or triple in size) I think will make that blanket manageable. I'm testing out my method on a Princess Peach blanket (I posted it here in the forums), but I like the idea of stitching the pieces together as I go so that it's less daunting... Anyways, awesome blanket!
