Amigurumi Piranha Plant & Street Fighter (large photos)

Post by NerdStitch »

Hi all, I am new here, and thought I'd introduce myself with one of my most video-game-related projects. It is a piranha plant which I crocheted for my boyfriend for a christmas present. Pictures aren't the best quality and were taken with my cell phone's camera, but I may have better ones in the future

These are great!
How does the piranha plant stay standing? His head looks heavy enough for the whole thing to fall over. Is there some sort of weight in the pipe?

It's funny, but the piranha plant is actually quite heavy. The bottom is full of of lead fishing weights courtesy of my dad :blinky

Thanks, the head was kind of difficult to work out, it ended up being 2 red half-spheres sewn to each other for a few inches, and 2 flat black circles sewn around those to line the mouth. The white does a great job holding it all together and hiding stitches

I've added another post with some of my non-video-game work at viewtopic.php?f=11&t=2943
It includes cartoons, anime, and other misc things
